Professional Photography Course

Our 6-month Professional Photography Course is designed to take you from beginner level to professional, combining technical training with creative practice through 100% hands-on sessions.

Module 1: Introduction to Photography

History of photography, types of cameras, DSLR vs mirrorless vs mobile, camera components, and major photography genres (portrait, wildlife, fashion, cinematic, product, etc.).

Module 2: Camera Basics

Exposure Triangle, Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, exposure modes, white balance, color temperature, and focus modes for sharp, well-exposed images.

Module 3: Lenses & Optics

Prime vs zoom lenses, focal length, field of view, lens aperture, distortion, and selecting the right lens for each type of shoot.

Module 4: Composition Techniques

Rule of Thirds, leading lines, framing, symmetry, patterns, depth of field, negative space, and advanced guides like the golden ratio.

Module 5: Lighting in Photography

Natural vs artificial lighting, soft vs hard light, direction of light, using reflectors & diffusers, golden hour, low-light & night photography, and basic studio lighting setups.

Module 6: Cinematic & Creative Techniques

Color psychology, mood creation, unique angles & perspectives, long exposure, motion blur, high-speed techniques, and cinematic bokeh.

Module 7: Practical Shooting Sessions

Outdoor & indoor portraits, product shoots, street photography, landscape/nature, event practice, and a guided creative mini-project.

Module 8: Post-Processing

Lightroom + Photoshop workflow, mobile editing apps, color grading, retouching, RAW vs JPEG, and exporting for social media & print.

Module 9: Portfolio Development

Image selection, storytelling, building a unique style, online portfolio creation, and social media optimization for photographers.

Module 10: Professional Practice

Client handling, pre-production, pricing basics, copyright, business skills, and photography career pathways.
